The station ensures the transfer and storage of fuel, particularly for military needs of the Krymsk tactical aviation base and the Russian Black Sea Fleet base in Novorossiysk. Local authorities reported that a fire broke out at the oil depot following the strike, with damage recorded to infrastructure supporting the facility's operations.
