A woman was killed in the Sumy region on Wednesday morning as a result of a Russian drone attack on a car.

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“This morning, Russian troops deliberately attacked a civilian car in the Stetskivka subdistrict of the Sumy community. Unfortunately, a female passenger was killed as a result of the enemy drone strike,” Hryhorov wrote.

The driver was injured. He was hospitalized, and medical personnel are providing the necessary care.

As reported by Ukrinform, six people were injured in the Sumy region on May 5 as a result of Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure.
