The Russians attacked the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv on Sunday afternoon, with casualties reported following a jet-powered Shahed strike. He later added that there are casualties following the strike – their number and condition are being established. Windows in adjacent apartment buildings were damaged and blown out as a result of the strike. Inspection of the area is ongoing. Terekhov later specified that at least six apartment blocks had been damaged by the strike – windows had been shattered, roofs damaged, a gas pipeline broken and the sewerage system rendered inoperable. Later, Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, reported that as a result of the attack in the Shevchenkivskyi district, two women, aged 61 and 89, were affected.
