Ghalibaf, whom AP has described as a key figure in negotiations mediated by Pakistan, listed three violations of the framework agreement by the US: continued strikes on Lebanon, a drone entering Iranian airspace and the position of US President Donald Trump's administration opposing Iran's uranium enrichment. He also noted that Trump, on his social media platform Truth Social, had described Iran's 10-point proposal as a working basis for future negotiations. However, according to Ghalibaf, the US breached this basis even before any talks began.
