SEOUL, April 20 (Yonhap) -- Hyundai Motor Group said Monday it will host its first global tech talent forum in the United States in September as part of its ongoing effort to recruit top engineers and strengthen its future mobility capabilities.

The Hyundai Motor Group Tech Talent Forum 2026 will be held Sept. 17-18 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, bringing together key executives and global talent in emerging technology fields.

Participating affiliates include Hyundai Motor Co., Kia Corp., Hyundai Motor America, Kia America, Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA), Boston Dynamics Inc., Motional Inc. and 42dot Inc.

The event will feature keynote speeches by top executives, including Hyundai Motor Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jose Munoz, as well as sessions for direct engagement with technical leaders and exhibitions showcasing the group's technologies and vision.

Applications for the forum are open through June 30 via the group's official website.

In conjunction with the event, the group will also launch its first integrated global recruitment program aimed at acquiring top-tier talent worldwide, with recruitment applications open from Monday through May 22.

Hyundai Motor Group Vice President Kim Hye-in, head of the group's human resources operations, said the talent forum will serve as a meaningful platform to identify outstanding talent and promote technological collaboration.
