Three Ground Self-Defense Force members may have been injured Tuesday after a tank exploded during training at the Hijudai maneuver area in Oita Prefecture, local media reported.

The incident occurred at the GSDF’s tank unit, and unconfirmed reports said the three may be unconscious.
