I gave Parramatta a big chance at the upset before the news came through about Kiraz and Crichton. While Kiraz isn't at fullback, a change I've really enjoyed in recent weeks, I still think the two of them playing is enough to flip me to the Bulldogs.
Queensland announced their side for Game II earlier today with Slater revealing a handful of changes and at least one debutant.
Couple of big ins for Canterbury - Stephen Crichton and Jacob Kiraz have both been passed fit to play.
Kiraz will switch to the wing and Connor Tracey is in at fullback. Jethro Rinakama is on the bench. Bailey Heyward starts at hooker with Kurt Mann out of the side.
For Parramatta, Harrison Edwards starts at hooker with Tallyn da Silva moving back to the bench.
Hey team, hope the public holiday is serving you well if you're in one of those states and hope you're not working too hard if you're not.
My name is Nick and I'm here to take you through every step of the Bulldogs-Eels game for this arvo, as well as selection for the New South Wales Origin team which should happen about an hour after fulltime.
